A Mirror story
A mirror is a piece of glass that reflects an image or light. Mirrors are commonly referred to as "gözgü" in many places, a word derived from the word "göz" (eye). Mirrors are known by a variety of names depending on culture and society, but mirror play an important role in folk beliefs. Many different interpretations have been added, and they have been the subject of numerous legends, stories, and beliefs. We must understand that mirrors physically reflect light and, thus, the world around us. Spiritually, light is associated with illumination, awareness, and wisdom, among other things. As a result, mirrors reflect truth in terms of spiritual symbolism. They are a reflection of reality. The eye or face is sometimes referred to as a mirror. Mirrors represent the psychological threshold between the conscious and unconscious minds. Mirrors appear frequently in legends and fairytales; mirrors can reveal what happened in the past, what will happen in the future, or what is happening right now from a great distance. Furthermore, the magical mirror would always tell the truth. In short, mirrors have significant cultural and symbolic values.Mirrors and artists share some characteristics in that they both reflect reality or creativity. What is the significance of art as a mirror? Is art a reflection of the artist? In art, what does a mirror represent? How do art forms reflect our culture and society? The purpose of the upcoming exhibitions is to investigate the various meanings and forms of the mirror. A reflection is mindful of the past while pushing ahead like a brick through glass. It is hard and unbending. Looking out it finds perspective and looking in it is a distortion of time and emotion. Dhaneshwar Shah（寿天） is a well-known Indian artist and a PhD candidate at Wuhan University of Technology's School of Art and Design. His research looks at how artists in Asian contemporary art use traditional mediums, techniques, and the latest experimentation to address a variety of identity issues and analyses the peasant problem and transformation in Contemporary Chinese Art. He finished two years of advanced research at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou in "New Media Art and Chinese Traditional Ink Art."His primary art education, including BFA and MFA in painting, was accomplished by the College of Art, New Delhi, India. The Scholar has been honoured with several prestigious national and international awards, fellowships, and residencies. He has contributed to a number of significant research papers that were published in major journals.

Kanaid Silsat studied at Burirum Teachers College in Thailand in the seventies and at the University of Baroda in 1983 to gain his Master in Education and Ph.D. (Social Science) at Magadh University,Bodh Gaya( Bihar) India in 2009. He was appointed Assistant Professor in the Education Faculty at Khon Kaen University in Thailand in 1990, was a member of the Founding Committee that established the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts Khon Kaen University and in 1995 was appointed Head of Painting. In 1995 he was a participant in the first staff exchange between Khon Kaen University and The Canberra School of Art in Australia where he was Artist in Residence for several months.

Letitia Evans Minto: British art teacher and artist, living and working in Ningbo, China. I tend to work with a range of media ranging from digital photography, conceptual art, multi-media and painting. Often incorporating text into my pieces. Whilst living in China this will have a different impact on the viewer. All our connections are bound by conversation, some small, some fragmented, some bilingual and others lengthy. I wanted to convey a multi-layered self-portrait that continued this conversation not only with words but with imagery too.

Rosihan Dahim was born in Singapore from an Indonesian family. After Singapore’s independence in 1965, Dahim was captivated by stories of World War I and II from his father who fought alongside the British Navy during the Japanese occupation in Singapore. The creations of Dahim's art and influences were derived from his personal experiences and literary from his readings of the French and Spanish revolution, an extension from Dadaism and the Surrealists manifesto and movements of the 1920's which also spread to the West.

Boston MA, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, studied at New York University, NY, Venice Italy, where he received his master’s degree in Studio Art, and at the China Academy of Fine Arts, Hangzhou, China, where he received a Ph.D. in Art Philosophy from the Oil Painting Department. Vladimir Karnachev was born on March 12, 1953 in Rustavi, Georgia. From early childhood he was fond of drawing. Love for drawing gradually shaped the future profession. In 1976 he entered the Rostov Art School. M.B. Grekov, which he successfully graduated in 1980 with a diploma of a graphic designer. Already during his studies, he began to exhibit his works at city and regional exhibitions. In the 80s he regularly takes part in regional, republican and all-Union exhibitions. In 1989 he was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR. Since 2000, he has been paying more attention to personal exhibitions (Rostov-on-Don, Moscow, Birmingham). Vladimir Karnachev is one of the few artists in contemporary Russia whose canvases are of constant interest to the most demanding European galleries. For the second consecutive year (2008 and 2009) his works have been selected by the coordinators of the Royal Academy of Arts in London for their summer exhibition - the most prestigious exhibition of living contemporary artists.
